Our Foundation
Values, vision and mission statements form the foundation for the work of this group. The statements below describe what we believe in, the direction in which we would like to move and how we are going to achieve our purpose.Our values statement describes the core of our group and the force that keeps us moving. The vision statement presents an image of what success will look like and serves as a reference point for the work of our group. The mission statement describes the what, how and why of our group.The basics of the vision and mission statements for the ECD Coalition were developed in February 2003 prior to the involvement of the consulting team. They were subsequently revised following the strategic planning session held with the whole group in June, 2003.
Vision
We envision our community involved in supporting all parents, caregivers and children from pre-conception to age six to enhance their potential.
Mission
To build community partnerships dedicated to healthy child development through ongoing research, strong communication & coordinated delivery of a continuum of preventive & support services.
